This sensational giclée depicts the Egyptian Queen, one of the most iconic and beloved works of Frank Frazetta, created in 1969. This excellent artwork has been meticulously reproduced from the original provided by Frazetta’s descendants. Using high-quality archival inks on Canvas, the reproduction captures the exquisite details and vibrant colors of Frazetta’s masterpiece.
This artwork was created as part of the "Frank Frazetta: Golden Collection" by Corner4art, the official art dealer for Frazetta Girls in Europe. This extraordinary artwork is an exclusive Artist Proof (A.P.), personally signed by Sara Frazetta, the granddaughter of the master himself. This is a one-of-a-kind copy, as only one AP from this collection is available for sale.
The original artwork was originally featured on the cover of Eerie magazine #23 in mid-1969 and then in issue 92 in 1977. It serves as inspiration for Princess Leia’s costume design in Star Wars, according to George Lucas. Frazetta made subtle revisions to the painting upon receiving it back from the publisher Warren, further enhancing the Queen’s enigmatic gaze and creating a definitive and strikingly wistful visage.

Frazetta worked for various comic book companies, including Standard Comics and Magazine Enterprises. In the early 1950s, Frazetta transitioned to doing science fiction and fantasy art, particularly in collaboration with Al Williamson, producing exceptional work for EC Comics. Frazetta’s talent and versatility were further highlighted when he contributed to Al Capp’s “Li’l Abner” strip and worked on movie posters, notably “What’s New Pussycat?” His fame reached new heights with his iconic Conan the Barbarian series of paintings, leading to widespread recognition in the fantasy art genre for creating his characters such as Deth Dealer, who gained him recognition as one of the greatest illustration masters of all times.
